Shanda Literature Limited (“SDL”), founded in July 2008, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited.

Currently, SDL operates three leading online literary websites namely qidian.com, hongxiu.com and jjwxc.net. The wireless reading division of SDL is at a leading position in China’s wireless content business. SDL provides handset optimized literature works to readers by its own wireless platform and cooperation with telecom operators. In its offline publishing business, SDL have established a strategic alliance with several offline publishers to fully leverage their existing copyright resources. At the same time, SDL keeps diversifying its business model by supplying content to gaming companies and TV/movie studios with its fertile copyright resource.

30% of SDL’s users are from overseas, covering more than 200 countries and regions. To date, more than 800,000 authors have contributed to SDL’s wonderful world of fiction. As a modern offshoot of traditional Chinese culture, Chinese online literature continues to contribute to and flourish with the international literary world. In fact, with its ever-increasing volume of literary works, SDL is on its way to becoming the largest copyright holder and trader in China.
